Founded in 1972 by Paul Cedillo, Jr., our practice began with a commitment to justice and fairness. My father established this firm as a general practitioner, but with a strong focus on criminal defense, laying the foundation for a legacy of advocacy.
Over the years, I brought my training in trial work to the practice, expanding its scope and sharpening its focus. We have expanded our roster, but remain committed to the principles laid down over the years. Today, our firm specializes in criminal defense, personal injury, and immigration matters, specifically removal and deportation defense.
We are dedicated to combating government overreach, standing for justice, and using the legal system to hold corporations and powerful entities accountable for their actions. We remember the long (and ongoing) fight for equality under the law for people of color, women, and members of the LGBT+ community and so we are committed to upholding principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
These days, we realize that attorneys are front line soldiers in the battle to uphold the rule of law. Even in these changing times, however, our mission remains rooted in protecting the rights of individuals and ensuring fairness for ALL people. As Malcolm X said, we will partner with anyone, anywhere, who will help in that great mission.
